Do the british celebrate Thanksgiving

Dear Chicago House,

As a Brit living the in US, I often get asked whether I celebrate Thanksgiving. What’s not to celebrate, we would be crazy not to cook up a big slap up dinner with all the trimmings and having lived here for 18 years we embrace all American holidays!

While most Thanksgiving meals are shared with extended family, all of our family is back in the UK, so we have a slightly less chaotic table than most. It would be lovely to have everyone here but living over 4000 miles away from everyone is something we have got used to… but I think it’s only normal get get a little homesick occasionally.

So today I thought I would share with some photographs of Wales …my homeland!
